  • How much do you charge?
    Rates vary depending on the type of service requested. Contact me to get a free quote and more information.
  • Do you take insurance?
    Michael Gurock is an out of network provider and will be happy to provide an invoice that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. Please contact your insurance company directly to inquire about its reimbursement policy for behavioral health treatment. Most people with out of network mental health benefits are reimbursed between 50% and 100% of the cost of their sessions. Check out your out of network benefits by inputting your insurance information here.
  • What should I ask my insurance provider?
    Do I have out of network benefits to see a licensed clinical social worker? If so, what percentage of sessions do you cover? Is there a session limit, and if so, in what time period? What is the deductible, and how much of the deductible have I met? How do I access the necessary form to submit for reimbursement?
  • How and when do I pay for my services?
    Michael takes Venmo, Zelle, credit cards, or checks, all due at time of service.
  • What is your cancellation policy?
    Michael’s policy requires 24 hours notice for canceled appointments. Please note, Michael charges the full fee for appointments canceled less than 24 hours in advance, or for no-show visits.
